DENIZ is a group of professionals dedicated to serving the needs of the international
business community in the field of intellectual property rights protection. Our staff are all highly
qualified professionals in their respective fields and are committed to on-going research to ensure that
they remain informed about the latest developments in property rights protection. Allow us to briefly
introduce ourselves. Pevril Keçeli is the founder and director of Deniz Patent and Trademark. He has a BS in Economics and has worked as a Certified Accountant for the last 20 years. Mr. Keçeli is also a certified patent and trademark attorney in Turkey and as been certified in the EU as well. He has extensive experience as a business consultant.
Bigen Mutlu is a registered patent and trademark attorney. She studied economics at Ankara University graduating with a Masters degree. She has worked in the private sector as a business consultant in the area of intellectual property rights for the last 10 years. In addition she is a certified trademark attorney in the EU.
Robert Johnson graduated from the University of Texas (M.A. Linguistics) and worked for 8 years at universities in the US and Turkey. He left the university to start a liaison office for an American computer company in Ankara, Turkey, where he continues to assist foreign companies wanting to enter Turkey's emerging markets.
Bill Bergman graduated from the University of Texas with a Masters degree in Computer Science. After working for 5 years as a computer programmer in the States, he joined an American company in Turkey as the head of their technical department, where he is in charge of project supervision.
Mehmet Kutluk has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Middle East Technical Univeristy. He is proficient in French, English and Turkish. He has worked as an engineer on a number of large development projects for major corporations including CGE, Alsthom and Thomson-CSF on hydraulic and thermal power plants, LW and MW radio as well as VHF, UHF TV broadcast stations.
Yeni Özbek Matbaa is the printing company which designs logos and handles all of the offset printing for our office. Their modern facilities are equipped with the most up-to-date technology and can meet the toughest customer's highest expectations.
Legal Counsel is provided by Gayret Consulting Services, a legal firm established in 1985 by Osman Macit Söylemez. The law firm specializes in legal matters that affect the business community from joint ventures to technology transfer, contract law to unfair competition litigation. The firm has 13 associate lawyers and is UIA (Union International des Avocats) member.
